Can anybody post here do's and dont's when teaching?

Like for example:

1. When you asked a person's age (especially women) and they didn't answer the first time, don't repeat the question, change the topic.

2. Don't dwell too much on the topic "hygiene" (I guess you have an idea right?). ;D

Do try to come in two or three days a week.

Do not admit to ever being in prison, even if it was only once or twice.

do act dumb on korean culture and customs(it would be a good excuse later when you offended then!!!)

Do your best to pretend that you're really into teaching and imparting knowledge when in fact you're just in it for the money. It pays!  :angel:

plus its such a great way if you need to get them to talk.... "so how is ....... in korea?"

i like to offend (only slightly) on the first day.... that way they're not surprised later.

if they're shy to tell you what course they studied.... it was probably english.

donot in any way call that small island in between japan and korea "takeshima" or face a kimchi :knuppel:i blitzkrieg

Do not ever assume that married and proffessional male students over the age of 30 are decent!!!They're damn indecent!!!! :tickedoff: Anybody ever have an indecent proposal?

Just teach...    Wouldnt that be enough... Teach.    Not preach. Nor do a dramatic monologue.

I think daniel websters and any electronic dictionary could shed a much easier idea of what teaching is...    (too corny)
