Are widescreen LCD monitors just stretched normal monitors or what? All widescreen LCD monitors I've seen are like that, like they just made the square pixels rectangle, hence stretched pictures and everything. It's just not right. lol

If that is the case, it means they are using the wrong settings for the monitor. I have seen many computer shops that do not know how to set their LCDs to best display.

Even at computer hardware shops like New Gate and Microstar they have all these widescreen LCD monitors showing stretched versions of TV channels. I felt bad for TV. How could you watch at that crap.

Guess it's something to do with aspect ratio.
