i heard some in the philippines. a hubby murdered his family. there's a lot of cases  like this in the philippines. nga lang di sya open. try to dig in in some books and papers.

One essential factor in commiting a crime is intent. An insane person doesn't have intent because of his handicap. He is not capable of knowing the right from wrong. Here in the Philippines it is accepted. If you are insane you are exempted.

But of course it must be proven.
