I always here this line with couples "don't change" or "wag kang magbabago". WTF? That is an unrealistic expectation to impose on someone. Everything changes! It maybe form bad to worst, or good to better. What if say this instead, "Change! and in every twist and turns, bumps, downs and ups I'll be here."

Is it really proper to say huwag kang mababago/ or don't change? Why do you think people always say that? Can it really be possible that you will not change?

To grow is to change.................to mature is to change..............................everybody does it!
I'm so amazingly clever that I often have to give up trying to understand what I'm saying.

We are free up to the point of choice then the choice controls the chooser....

i think when people in love say 'don't change', they were talking about the feeling of love...like 'always love me, okay? DON"T ever NOT love me. '. hehehe.
Please put all rubbish provided in the bins.

It should not be taken literally!

HUWAG KANG MAGBABAGO is a form of recognition of something good that you have done!
Love is an illness cured by marriage!

So for example, If you won an event or a contest, I can say "wag kang magbabago".

I usually hear this sentence when they deliver a message to their loved ones on birthdays or other occassions.

Lets face it most of us don't want to change anything especially when you're already comfortable in any circumstances. People are afraid of changes because we don't know what lies ahead of that changes. For the word change alone it means starting from the bottom, moving, or many hassles to begin with, in a relationship when you say to a person please don't ever change, what i understand is this guy is afraid of loosing his/her. It's like saying oh no, don't change anything, b'coz everything is perfect.
Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.

It's our hope...... although its a reflection of insecurity...  we sometimes say this to others who are close to us because we are aware of  imperfections and weakness of being human.. We are afraid because of such we lose the grip of strength, will power, and confidence.

It's not possible that we wont change.  In time,  our morals and emotional stability evolve.
with echoes of deliverance....

wow sana nga pero no matter what people still do change, as long as the love is still intact change is acceptable.
