do you believe in destiny??? is there such as you are destined for each other...??

we pave our own destiny...it's a matter of choice and not of chance.....that's why we choose the person whom we want to be married and spend the rest of our life...and no matter hwta the outcome is, it maybe a failure or a successful marriage, it was u who chose it from the start...

good point... howeveR; to make a discussion and to learn from each other, before choosing someone to marry, yeah of course it is for us to choose... but isn'T it that those people coming to you are not your choice, do they come just for a chance or they are really the person meant for you???

yeah right, you don't choose those pipz who come to you..court you etc... we meet them by chance or wateber but  we choose who to marry.

basta ti amok we choose our own destiny. in a marriage, you often hear people comment to a happy and succesful marriage " they are destined for each other". and what do we hear if the marriage is unsuccesful? " haan da nga gasat ti maysa ken maysa...or agdardaras gamin maki asawa"..... ;D ;D ;D

it's also a choice if you want to be destined married to yourself

yeah another point, but am talking about a person you are marrying, it is not about the end result of the marriage... to make my point clear,... in this world for instance we cannot choose man/woman to meet right, we meet people by chance... and when we come to meet them, people appreciates us and courts us or the other way around we appreciate them and even desire to marry that person we meet but that is not a choice to meet that person that we happened to appreciate right, and suddenly both good feelings arises and ends with marriage.... my point is that is that accidental or is it really meant for you to meet at that certain point, area and time of your lives because you are really meant for each other....??

yeah ha mountainer....we don't choose people we meet but we choose people we deal with... ;D if we want them we entertain them if not why bother...

We meet people by chance... But we can also choose to look for people we want. Most people just wait because it is easier that way, they let it to chance and choice. In this diverse world, it's not inevitable that someone adorable will come your way some time or another. We can always choose, we don't have to settle for what chance laid on the table for us. Everything is a chained reaction of our choices in the past, nothing is left to chance. If you choose not to act, that is still your choice. That's most powerful gift vested to us... Freewill.

good point lordover; however, am not talking about freewill, i know...as my signature says we are free up to the point of choice, then the choice controls the chooser... that is a freewill, because we are free agencies.... but am talking about marriage, about those people we choose to marry are those accidental or is it because you are destined/meant for each other...

I think it is pure choice. We just sometimes overlook the options. Sometimes we think that an act that we will be doing does not create an impact on the ultimate result, we therefore tend to take it for granted... Then, what do you know, it changes the whole picture. This is I think what happens. We think we did not make the choice since we were not able to reach the point where we thought we will be making the decision but actually, we already did.

well said lordover, but before we choose there is a CHOICE right, and before a choice there are things or people to choose right.... are those CHOICEs are choices from you NO... they COME by CHANCE... but are those chances mainly an accident???
