it's hard to forget...it may take you years and years but along the way you'll be reminded again and again.the important thing is to get over it no matter how long it takes until then you can move on but  for me there's no such thing as forgetting it..... ;D ;D ;D ;D kaniak lang ah dayta..
no one fall in love by choice it is by chance, no one stays in love by chance it is by work and no one fall out of love by chance it is by choice...

it's not necessary for forget to be able to move on or get over the heartache. taking into consideration that there is a great probability that you would consider being in a relationship again, how can you forget if you are actually dealing with thesame emotion? It's better to forget the bad side of it, dwell in the good things, have a good outlook in life, and forgive if you were hurt... easy to say, hard to do... but then again, that's love.

but for the mean time, to help in getting over IT, is a  couple of cold bottle of your favorite beer , and some person that tells you - hey why dont you just get yourself a new girl/boyfriend , just suck it up

forget to move on or to get over?

hmmm...

can one really totally forget? if only it were that easy then life would be so much easier for us all. unless one has pathological amnesia, i don't think one can really forget about certain events in his life that he deems unpalatable.

to move on or to get over? to get over or to move on?

i liken this to driving from one place to another via a spike ridden highway...unless one can maneuver his car to avoid the spikes can he finally reach his destination. so unless one gets over..learns how to deal with...bad memories can he finally start to move on or learn to love life again.

my very cheap opinion.

what's necessary? if it really ended then get over it, for the person is getting over you.. move on, for that's what the person is aiming to do.. but never forget.. unless you want to be forgotten..

no, i think its not necessary to forget. it is better keep the memory for you to make it better the next time. besides, as they say, its difficult to forget...

you'll know its over if you can remember it with a smile, then you can move on

"There is a belief that time heals all wounds. The premise of this belief is that the further you get away from an event in time the less the pain is felt that is associated with the event."

i'd stick to this one... been hurt too much in the past... i thought i couldn't forget or move on, contemplated suicide even but as days go by, little by little the pain faded... now when i look back i try not to remember the sad part but the happy one... i've learned not to regret what made me happy...
