Is it right to say I love you... then goodbye! If you love someone... why leave them? Is this another one of those lame excuses to keep your ex partners pride intact and not into a million pieces? For you not to be guilty? Or your just trying to make it more difficult to the other person? :

I think that's better. Saying i love you and goodbye is like saying "i love you... not!" I think people should be responsible and live by the words that they say... You don't say one thing and do the other.

People complicate things to make other people not know exactly what they mean and they think that lessens the burden. But the message is the same after all and so is the effect.
