A friend recently broke up with his gf for more than 3 years, against his will, because the girl found another guy. It seems he's been suffering thinking about it since then although he says he's better now. He dropped by earlier since he says not used to having all the time alone anymore.

I remember the time this happened to me as well. The girl just told me it was over with no reason whatsoever and refused to talk or see me. I couldn't breathe thinking about her then that I had to go out and get myself drunk sick all the time, did it for a week. Now I don't even remember how I felt for her then, I think the drinking helped a lot. >

So naturally I advised my friend to drink up too hehe. However he says he's stopped drinking and just keeps himself busy, which is a very slow route to recovering imo.

How about you? How do you recover from a break-up?

well break ups.. i usually am a fan of that word. i can relate to what your friend has felt, but as they all say, we need to move on... I just made myself busy working and found a wife (my pc) who never leaves me and never breaks my heart..  ;D

Alchohol, I know its obvious but it can help. Especially when drunk with sluts. Am I shallow? :-\

You're right on target again bro! I actually did that during that 1 week drinking spree with my ex's similarly hot girlfriend. Nothing happened though coz I wuz too drunk. Ooops. :-X

It's not really the alcohol. It's more of the girls you get to meet who sympathize with you while drinking. A frustrated guy could become so good at them. >

Fast recovery...ulit-ulitim nga it's over garuden . It's gud 4 those who've drinking buddies, 4 those who've lots of friends, for those who chooses to find another love...coz the pain atleast would go away in a day.

Joining forums such as this, really helps a lot. I can even attest to that .
