Yes.............................like I've become a satanist and must make human sacrifices

Maybe if you were sharpening your sacrificial knife at the time!

How about "sorry I've joined a Muslim extremist movement and I'm just popping down the dynamite store before flying to Afganistan

Well some religions and sects do not allow marriage with other sects. You have to marry their religion too. :idiot:

exactly..but i dont give a damn..religion has nothing to do with what i feel...follow your hearts desire and don't use religion as a reason to hurt somebody..that's being lunatic..

What do you mean by the 70x7?

Anyway it doesn't matter if you know your Bible if the religion of the person you're in a relationship with doesn't accept yours. And if there's no way in heaven or hell would either of you convert to either party's brand of religion, your wouldn't be able to tie the knot.

I could name some sects that don't allow inter-religion/sect marriage but they might just demonize me.

Everything can matter in a relationship if you make a big deal out of it. Religion is not an exemption. It is a very lame excuse to break up in a relationship. Nobody brcomes a lesser or a better person because of realigion- nobody deserves to be heart broken because of it either.

for me it doesn't matter of his religion as long us he have a humble heart and the passion to care and love the way i used to be.(kumbaga yung mahalin niya ako bilang ako).

"What is God's desire for you, single brother? And what is God's desire for you, single sister? Simply this: that you and one very special person develop a great friendship, experience a pure relationship, enter marriage enjoying the full blessing of God, take pleasure in the greatest possible sexual relationship, and walk through life as soul-mates, helping one another to make it all the way to heaven. That's the fairy tale. And thousand of couples in our fellowship worldwide have lived it to this day. Don't allow your hormonal fantasies, the fables of Hollywood, and the myths of Satan to rob you of that fairy tale in your own life." icoc
this is part of the statement of our movement.

i believe that religion does matter, everything in a relationship does, that is if you intend to have a relationship that would last a lifetime.

So are you with one of those sects that do not accept other sects?

I tend to shun self-righteous Christian sects like the hell is up with them? We are all Christians.

but do you think religion is an excuse to break-up with your
partner... its because your an outsider to them (to their religion)

i think its a lame excuse....
since its your faith that matters most and not the religion.....
religion is debatable....

and that is what i think....
come to think of it..

religion and relationship can be a challenging part of the relationship as long as both of you knows the limitation it could do to harm or to bind you together no matter what religion you both belong. if both commit to meet half way i don't think there's no reason it could work out.
