Hello there... am the new kid in the block... hahah... i know that religion is one of the no-no topics in social gatherings... hmmm... i wonder why...  :uglystupid:

One of our favorite topics while drinking miglight is 'Religion'... yep... sarap pag-usapan especially if you have contradicting ideas... uumagahin na kau sa pag-iinuman pero walang nalalasing...

There was one time i mentioned i'm an athiest and my friend commented that there are no real atheists... i don't remember exactly what he said but it has something to do with the principles... i for one am not 'daw' and yeah he has a point, ako kasi i just don't believe that the 'God' who most people, well Filipinos anyway or christians believe in as the highest being... there could be a higher being but not necessarily God... la lang siguro ako religion and does that qualify me as an atheist... ang sagot... EWAN!!!

So yun, another topic... i asked him, do you believe in paradise? the biblical one ha... and he said of course kasi nga he is a christian, ewan kung catholic... and i said ako hindi... why, sabi... pag lasing kasi pa-englishan kami eh... because it's like this, i compare paradise to a candy that you promise to a kid if he or she behaves... if you behave i will give you this, and the kid will say oooopoooo... paradise on the other hand is you do good and you will live forever in paradise... if you do bad bad you'll burn forever in hell... parang wow naman pare... we do good para me premyo...  para we can live forever in paradise... being punished bad deeds is ok lang kasi nga you were bad eh... pero i have an issue with that pero maya lang... sa paradise muna tau...

Paradise defined: (Christianity) the abode of righteous souls after death ... ayun na nga... righteous souls after death... now why should we be counting on something after death pa... and why should we be good just so we could avoid eternal damnation... can we not be good because we want to... man is not inherently evil... i believe in the goodness of man... hehe... Anne Frank... but I agree with her... man is not evil... we are by nature good... and out of that nature that's why we do what is good not because of some promise of paradise... ako i do good because i feel good when i do good, not because i'm promised that i'll live in paradise forever...  :crazy:

Second, i asked him i he believes in hell and he said of course... waw naman pare... how good is your God? diba he is love? why would he condemn you to eternal damnation if he is love? i mean, like euthanasia... i'd rather put the person out of his / her misery kesa punish you eternally for being bad for like 60 or 70 years? that's unfair... where's the justice here?
