Watched '300' yesterday, and it was great! A little taste of history, and the fight scenes are excellent! Spartan phalanxes against Persian immortals. O0 used to see them only in video games

Some say it's one way of indirectly dissing the Iraqi insurgents. The legions of Persians (now Iraq) didn't stand a chance against a handful trained, disciplined Spartan soldiers.

Been watching strictly anime... this month I finished GunGrave, Scrapped Princess, and RahXephon, all great anime titles. I admire the Japanese for coming up with such ingenious and out-of-this-world ideas on their storylines. And their quality of animation is far superior to American cartoons, it's like an art form.

I wish the Philippine entertainment industry would wise up and explore this paradigm instead of making two-bit films that insult your intelligence. Besides a cartoon character can not run for President.

Watched Spiderman 3 yesterday... I must say that 2 hours and 30 minutes is well worth it. It's like several comic book stories in 1, each for Mary Jane, Hobgoblin(?), Sandman, Venom, and of course Spiderman.
