it may be boring to some because there's a lot of singing and dancing but the have great stories....
i watched their latest  hit movie, salaam namaste..man!the music is soo upbeat and the story is cool......

and by the way i watched an Oprah show  and the most beautiful woman in the world is in bollywood...(forgot her name)

hehe kasi i love Indian movies and bellybuttons  :o hehehe  she has the typically dark black Indian hair, oogling curves, star apple lips, cappuchino eyes, pinchable cheeks, pearly shells and a non-linear art of conversing.

have you seen priety?ohhhh she's a typical igorot!!!!!that's why we love to watch her movies...

What other Bollywood movies on dvd have you got? do you swap? your loc? most Bollywoodies move around a common Indian melodrama concept...plus the dances. Just like Tito-Vic-Joey, but are very cinematic and recently have become very technical in production. What I like best is their dramatic lighting techniques, which is uniquely Indian in treatment.

'Bangalore Machine' (forgot Indian title) was one I missed. About 2 Indian geeks. You even seen this?

i just got into this movies when my friends employer learned that i love indian movies and she kept hiring it for me from an indian shop. i don't own one though i am planning to burn some of theirs...
i think i saw that movie last year..i'll ask shelly bout that. have you seen hum tum? it's an old one. romance comedy....

i wanted to... pero ayan met channel ngamin nga adda bollywood na... i have this channel nga puro mtv.. dunno nu kasdyay met lng idiay movies da.. 

Sorry to break the mood here hehe. But I find bollywood movies hilariously corny. Like why do they have to sing and dance (correographed pay) all of a sudden in the middle of something? I think they said there's an average of 5 sing and dance numbers for every bollywood movie. But did you know that India doesn't have FM radio? So maybe that explains it, they merged their FM radio with their movies. ;D

it's uniquely indian but i prefer Indian movies than Western ones. I like Chinese comedy too. I guess the Philippines is used to a Hollywood-type liking bec. of our American influence. If many more Filipipinos will critique and watch Indian movies, it would be nice.

hilariously corny maybe, but it's far more entertaining than Tagalog comies. hehehe
