Alright everyone this is it we're finally going to do this and we're going to need all the help we can get. Since it's almost the holiday season, it will be like our early Christmas present for the kids at the orphanage. We all want to hear the children's laughter, don't we?

For those who aren't familiar with this charity project yet, we will be repairing an orphanage playground as a way of giving back to our community, more details at this topic: baguiophoria.com/community/index.php?topic=977.0 although the EB will have to come later.

The activity will be on December 9-10, Saturday & Sunday. Although might be able to finish everything on Saturday. We will be ready with all tools and equipment necessary so no need to bring anything except yourselves. It's a simple job really, painting. We'll have 0verlord handle the welding and drilling stuff. ;D

Basically, the activity would be repairing and repainting of the playground, and at the same time treat the kids with lunch and snacks and maybe have fun with them in-between. The RSCC Head has graciously given us permission to use their kitchen for cooking so we will also need volunteers to help with the cooking. About the food, we thought it would be best to have 'child food' like spaghetti, chicken, hotdogs, etc. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Anyone who's free on Saturday (or Sunday) and/or otherwise would like to help please PM me or 0verlord. We would also have to set a meeting later. So who's ready to become 'Unbecoming'?

Let's forgo the meeting and just meet everyone on Saturday! We're expecting several new guys to join us on the activity and it's going to be great. Let's all have fun doing something really altruistic.

Most of you might not be familiar with the orphanage at Wangal so we're setting a meeting place where we can meet all you volunteers up. I suggest BSU (Benguet State University) since it's easy to find for those not from the area. We'll be waiting in front of the BSU Administration building before 9 AM.

The project was nothing short of a success! It was great, thanks to all the volunteers who came we could have finished everything last Saturday if it wasn't for the rain. Still overwhelmed with all the events that's been happening surrounding the project since Friday. For now here are some pics of some of the volunteers, will upload the rest later.
