Where does reality exist? in the "within"  or out  of the "without"

what we actually see or what we believe we see?

....its just going back to realism..."seeing is believing"...but then again there are times when people believe on things even if they never have seen it...perhaps reality does exist within you yourself...and that reality is waht you believed to be believed.

i think reality is relative. everyone has their own reality. there is no such thing as standard reality. i think, everything that exists has a conspiracy behind them: why the percieved reality is a man is born, a man goes to school, a man gets a job, a man marries and stablishes a family, a man gets old and die; why we are presumed to go to school as soon as we turn 3; why we are presumed to get married at aroun 20 something...etc.

we're trap in a world before later on.

we have been demanding our way since day one...like, "i want a spouse that makes me happy, and a co-workers that ask my opionion", "i want weather that suits mea nad traffic that helps me and a government that serves me." and all kinds of stuffs... and those are the realities that we are desiring..... it is all, SELF-PROMOTION, SELF-PRESERVATION, SELF-CENTEREDNESS.... but out of those within realities comes the reality of not being promoted, preserved and fulfilled...
or the other way around....

In my mind, realities are viewed from a kaleidoscope (francism was right) I like that song...

for now, i just let myself flow.. where the stream takes me.. whether to a canal or to an ocean.. im

is open to camp and explore...

Then thats not reality... you could ovelook the city.. the hardlife that most people are experiencing... but im not saying you're trapped in your world nor negligent of others... i mean instead of climbing up, why dont you go down and see the hardness of life,,,,

it is like that when you view it that way, because realitities can be both valleys and mountains, when you are climbing your mountains you could also see your valleys and both can be realities in life....

but up there is an illusion... the feeling of "I'm the king of the world" [ala titanic]  unfortunately. im not a king...

so whats real?

you do not need to be a king and to be a hero like de CARPIO.... coz mountains can symbolized hardship in life dude.... it is real because am having my mountains each time.... most of the time i guess...

ahh meancreek your stlyle is deep,  but.. i like it.... you know how to roll a very good brainstorming; keep that up, you are really communicating..
literally or figuratively in my case is one and the same, when i said mountains i mean it literal coz i really come from the province of the mountain and that is why i named myself mountainer and that is reality for me, no less no more.... saying my realities as "treading the mountains and while climbing, looking which door  is open to camp and explore" simply answering your trekking of the mountains, which i can see profound truth in it, let us say in my case though..... and so to speak, am just saying that mountain can symbolize the hardship, challenges and oppurtunities in life that i face everyday, or just simply things that i see on my everyday life and they are realities that i cannot escape no matter what i do ... they are realities that i just needed to face and say ahh this IS life and has to go on, i have to tread upon it though... but, you see if you were able to passed mountain in your life., the next time it comes... you became at least sronger to face that another mountain..... ahh just sharing though... how'S yours??

im a drift wood... flowing and floating on a mean creek.. I could either be used as an ornament in house if ever someone fish me out    or      I could just rot and disintegrate into nothingness...

But im happy. Myself in our job at the institute has turned into Ourselves... that means  a lot to me

now...

For me reality is in the "within", in what we believe we see. Reality is what we assimilate either through perception or through imagination and incorporate it in our lives. We are so powerful that we can be blind to the percieved information the outside world offers us, or make up things with our minds and forge them as part of our reality. I think this is one human characteristic that helps us stay sane.

what if what we perceive as "our" reality is but a figment of another ones imagination?

What if we are but actors in a drama?

Do we still exist then? or being figments of imagination we do not exist?
