this may sound a litte old school...but go nuts anyway.

in high school i was the proverbial dorky kid who couldn't stp gushing about star wars.  i was practically unpopular and as far as the highschool standard for being cool is concerned, i was never considered to be one. my classmates were 2-4 years ahead of me. i never had a lot of "friends" as far as the real meaning of the word friend is concerned, but i did hang out with some guys for keggers. high school chicks don't dig me. prom night was hell...

and what not.

I was always the second choice... in every aspect... and I hated myself for allowing circumstances to use me!

I know many would say that high school life is the best but not for me...
I scorn every inch of it ! darn! I was always misunderstood then
... if there is a second life
I will surely skip my secondary years...

High school is so uncool...

coming from a public elementary to a private highschool institution did gave me a hell of a culture shock. like everyone and everything seems so prim and proper (not that I am not, but there is always the air of arrogance around). a happy-go-lucky kid that I am was not so used to that kind of environment. no running around the corridors, no laughing out loud for ladies (there's a proper way to laugh, i observed. hehehe!), no street foods, no playing around... I wondered then how can my classmates deal with that (or maybe I was just the one... shucks!)  :'(

Anyway, got used to it on the next three years to come. Maybe i did belong among the above-average commoners, the one having some place on curricular and extra-curricular competitions. I did enjoy, though. But if I had been on a non-Catholic institution, I would have enjoyed my highschool life better. sayang....

i always thought i had a good high school life. you know, first time for everything!

however,looking at your posts makes me think back of what really happened back then. naaahh, it's a blur, it's all fun that i can think off. unless going to class drunk with a scroll of paper tucked on my blue faded jeans is a bad thing hehehe... well, i guess doing all that without apprehension makes who i am now, a stubborn, smart-a s s wannabee who thinks im good at anything i do when in fact, i am nothing. to top it all up, i don't even have a single penny on my name!

thru it all, i'm living a life. i loved my high school life.

F*** highschool... was always in trouble... attending classes drunk in the morning or not being able to attend class because i was too drunk... almost got kicked out... all those chicks with eternally raised eyebrows and feel like they are the sosi highs... crap... highschool started all these mess... plus instructors who insist that AD is same as BC... dumb... how we oughta take care of the reputation of the school... how we're not supposed to be seen scattered in the city with our uniforms on at 12 midnight...

high school days: i was a very studious girl, a very behaved, silent, and nice girl! i never tasted wines or liquors, i never smoke (til now), i never cut classes, ahe..not so popular student when i was still in my first year! 
                            but during my second year, i started attending and joining sports, dancetroupe, high school organizations, etc etc! there, i became popular! got lots of suitors! hehehe!

i went to school  earlier than my age and that is why i was always in the company of the  oldies, associated with people  older than me gave  impact on my life... high school days  are  never forgotten, though i was  younger than them;abled  to run the race  well......  LEPANTO NATIONAL  HIGH  SCHOOL  would always  be  my alma mater.....thanks  LNHS for being  a part  in this journey of my life.....

loose shirts, baggy pants... i used to be one of the boys but never have one of them... till now  a little smile here and lots of laugh there, men was it fun. popular? who's not? our batch graduated with only 43 studes.

...hi-school??..ang maarteng pasaway!!..that's me...i usually join the honor studs tho not in the first but still have my name in the top ten list!!..was an officer too in the students organizations..i joined a lot of activities which makes me popular than my ate..hehehe..am not a silent type girl!!..i drink wines but never engage myself to smoking..joined the barkada gigsters ng mga matatalino...and of course kami yung malalakas sa instructor namin..thanks Immaculate Conception Hi-school!!..you're great!!..

high school? coming from a ili to city is a whoa!i was sooo shy  when i enter highschool. i may graduated with honors in elem but i didn't use it well in my first year in highschool. i ace in my paer works but my knees shakes in recitations ;D. what inspire me is a cute guy accross me. i didn't enjoy my first 3 years but fourth year was a blast! i met my best friend in my fourth year and i gotta hang out till 7 at night hehehehe...hail city high!!!!

It was a journey! I don't know how to describe it though... I had the extremes... I started as a top notcher in the science class earning awards fot the school and ended up as a die hard metallica fan headbanging, doing a lot of illegal things and lying down on the highway. In my 3rd and 4th year in high school, I attended barely 1/4 of the school year... The number 1 absentee.. They never dropped me though because I had a reputation. hehehehe  >

I enjoyed it a lot... I got away with everything! I was invincible! NOt the best experience though.

High school was the worst and the best times of my life. The first 3 years was hell. Being the new guy from a private school moving to a public one it was sort of a culture shock and I always got bullied and picked on. Totally hated going to school by the 3rd year that I started to heavily skip classes, much to their surprise that I'd easily top any exams/quizzes whenever i'm present. Barely made it through 3rd year if not for some sort of bribe in the form of laboratory tools.

Until I discovered the wisdom of rock and heavy metal music that gave me an attitude which eventually got me into the circle of the bad boys at school that made me somewhat popular till I totally lost control. Had to repeat 4th year for 4 times. By the 4th time only 1 school was willing to accept me and that was Wangal. Was thrown into the last section together with the outcasts, drop-outs, and just plain stupid students. Luckily this time the teachers managed to tame the animal inside by befriending me till eventually I was reformed. I became something of a leader among them that we'd easily beat the top sections on any activity.

High school was great! > and yeah, kids please don't do what i've done too, barely made it.

in high school, i was quiet - quiet not in a timid way but in a rebellious way..if you can imagine that.

inside the classroom, it wasn't my style to volunteer my thoughts and ideas so my classmates probably considered me stupid because at one time, when one of our teachers announced that i was one of very few who submitted excellent works, some classmates gushed 'oh, we didnt know na may alam ka pala'. i countered with 'oh, but i've always known na wala kayo!'.  > after that, i never heard any bad comment from them. they finally realized that i couldn't be bullied, that i couldn't be put down without fighting back. hehe.

re: clothes, i was always the odd one during my freshman and sophomore years. while everybody wore RTWs (which, like now, followed the latest fashion trends), my clothes were specially made for me by THAT MAN, my dad's tailor. my clothes always fit perfectly....sad because that time, fashionable spelt LOOSE! talk about baduy!  ;D i was the 'well-dressed kid' in the eyes of my teachers and other parents though.  >
