.....hey guys....if you're in state of dilemma like me....share it here and maybe our co-forumers could lend a help...

here's mine...

situation: got a good job, good boss, good people around me, good place, but not good salary...say just enough for everyday living...means no savings, no progress... >, someone offers you a more better job, with a salary you can't resist..

problem: this job needs a lot of requirements, some screening, got the feeling that i can't...a little bit of insecurities but a part of my mind says i can do it and i'm confident about it...furthermore, have to quit from my job before applying coz i need time....but then again questions like "what if" clings on my mind...

question: if you were in my situation, would you take the risk or would you stay?

a part of your mind says you can do it,your confident.......what are you still waiting for then, for some "friends" to tell you that.....well,it's not a good idea, well, how about your friends in your current place of employment.......all those will add up into a big "doubt"...your confidence gone then back to square one.

If I were in your dilemma, I would ask for two weeks emergency leave or lets say one month it depends how long will it take you to prepare for the requirements.  If you want to have a better opportunity then take the risk. The reason I suggested  to  take an emergency leave is to make sure that even when you didn't make it with the other company at least you still have a job. However if you quit your job and you can survive months without a job then go ahead, just bear in mind that you have to have a second option in case you didn't get the other job.
Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.

if youre happy there and you're boss is ok, perhaps you could push your luck and try to subtly demand for certain increase or benefit..

to save, cut down unnecessary spending if there is...  budget and plan...
with echoes of deliverance....

Take the risk... achieving your goal and having things work better and be better is taking the risk.. you can do that you surely can... just face that fear and go forward... look forward and don't look down so you won't be affected by the hieght.

Take the risk! No regrets! If people didn't lose sight of the shore, then, they wouldn't have discovered new lands.

situation: got a good job, good boss, good people around me, good place, but not good salary...???

Stay.
And try to ask for better payment. Might get surprised.
I would rather have a Philippines run like hell by Filipinos than a Philippines run like heaven by the Americans Manuel L. Quezon

Ok. Then go for it if you feel sure you can do it and if you are sure you can survive if you don't get the job.

If not then my third advice would apply.

If a better job and better $$$ are your goals, then massive sacrifice ,persistency, and stepping out your comfort zone ,are your keys in meeting your goals....................sometimes risks pay off big time...........................
