Your doctor give the verdict... You have three months to live... Who would you first tell it to?

Is it better for someone to know or to keep it inside to avoid the emotional burden?

probably my sister and my best friend.

my sister can deal with it and my best friend can be my absorber.

I will not tell it to anyone... I don't want people to pity me or treat me differently. I don't want them to be burndened by the fact that I am dying. I will live- the way that I always did- but on a higher level.

Actually when I die... I'm not worried about myself dying, I'm worried about the people I'll be leaving behind.  :angel:

Yeah i'd do the same. But maybe i'd write a letter to give them right when i'm almost ready to go. Something like Megadeth...

...so as you read this, know my friends... i'd love to stay with you all (but can't)... smile when you think of me... my body's gone that's all....

torn between am i supposed to tell them to prepare them emotionally or will the pain be less if i just drop down dead when it's time...

I won't tell anybody, not even to my parents, nor my closest friend.  It will just prolong the agony, & for sure, I will not be treated normally.  Live & let die.
