OK, so maybe there's something out there... doesn't matter what it is... that's going to happen to you eventually, even though you don't want it to. This makes you feel hopeless. You don't like feeling hopeless, so you try to hasten the arrival of this thing that you don't want to happen to you in order to eliminate this hopeless feeling. You feel relieved when it's gone. Congratulations... you are a masochist.

Of course, there are also folks who just plain enjoy being tied up and whipped. I'm not sure how to explain them...

What's with girls and wrist slashing? Recently I saw this girl with maybe around 15 slash marks total on both her forearms. I remember in high school (the predominantly delinquent populated one) I knew a lot of girls who liked slashing themselves. One lesbian even carved out the name of her girlfriend (my x) after they broke up.

I guess some girls find gratification in doing this, doesn't matter if she's lesbian or straight. :idiot:

Thats not a suicide attempt. More a cry for help. If you want to cut your wrists I suggest you sink the razor deep and slash along the arm not across it!! Whilst sitting in a hot bath, to speed up bleeding and reduce clotting.

I had a girlfriend who slashed her wrist. I don't know her reason, but I made it a point to make her realize that it was stupid. hahaha
