War Triangle of the Conscious, the Unconscious and the Subconscious:
The above writing is perhaps a good interplay among the Levels of the Human Mind and its realities.
Stanza 1 is the voice of the subconscious (the "I")declaring its awareness of the pain the conscious must have felt. The voice also tells of its inability to understand the endurance of the hurt experienced by the conscious (the "you").
In Stanza 2 , the subconscious voice tells that it's unconscious' (the "her" ) personal encounter of reality which grieved the conscious.
The persona (subconscious), in stanza 3, suggests to the sad eyes (conscious) to let "goo" [tears and nasal mucus combined as by product of extreme sadness or emotional pain] "off the past" and instead be optimistic (there's more out there ). However a contradiction occurs when the persona said "regret". This is because regretting on something doesnt coincide with optimism.
The unconscious responds in stanza 4Â that it isnt easy for her to just ignore an emotional truth.
Stanza 5Â suggests that the conscious rejects and denies the claim in stanza 4.
The subconscious voice in stanza 6 asserts the dilemma in the reality of the unconscious.
Finally, the unconscious concedes.. and combined with conscious.
It is therefore clear that the writer wants to reconcile the conflicting truths inside her psyche.
She understands. But the issue is whether she had done it or not.
