Since i assume that those who wud be logging in here are alumni or students of University of Baguio, we might as well ask them who they think is their best teacher and why...Make your teachers proud and probably let them know how they changed your life (If ever they did in a way and how...hehehe)  8))

hahaha you like my pic? most men do they say it hypnotizes them

why i resigned? oh they definitely need me heheheh.

lets just say i encountered viscious snakes along the way. The ones who suck up to the higher ups just to get a decent position.

thats a no no for me.

imagine a person who works hard and produces good things but remains silent gets overtaken by people who do nothing but to suck up. geez no thanks  :tickedoff:

oh well ganun talaga

medyo matangkad nga ako so most ng mga superior ko e i have to look down on them to see them hahahahaha.

there are a lot of good people there, as in good pero there are snakes all over. Lalo na the top superior who i worked for....ganito sya magmotivate

"guys lets bend our backs once in a while...if the need arises lets give considerations to them...."

then pag nadali ka ng mga admin because of that eto na linya nya

"why did you do that? why did you give considerations? then you have to give consideration to all"

kakatawa ano paano ka nya iiwan sa ere e sya nga nag utos na gawin yon.

oh well like what they all say life is full em

Tama naman eh..un nga lang, part of human nature, we also get tired, hurt and confused when how come your giving ur all, talent and dedication, your superiors don't seem to be satisfied...and your coleagues, see u as a threat.. ...but well, i gues that's how things work... it all depends on us how we deal with it..to leave or to stay, to make a difference or just allow it to happen.... if you are in the shoes of PAULITO, would you do the same?  8))

although my intentions were indeed good, i am not a graduate of UB, i came from the other side, a culture shock when i came over.....they kept on saying that QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY....ok fine so i wanted to give them a taste of where i came from, the place where you really have to S#4t blood to get a decent grade.

then here they come scold you, dictate to you what they want to happen, they want their customers pampered and not given hell....duh it aint gonna work that way

so i still did what i knew was effective in order for them to learn, in that case there were lots of graduates who really did well and thanked me. ....well the other side of the coin, the hard headed ones even reached a milestone of take 5 on me!!! hahahahaha

well they were the ones who sucked up to the admin and another memo for me.

they wanted me to be like their favorite poodle (ultimate suck up teacher). Geez i didnt care if i got low ratings in the evaluations as long as the people i allow to graduate are assured to be the best.

but i could not take it any longer, the more the persistent i got on my own way the more the paying customers were going to be right. they wanted a stroll in the park, their common excuse excuse me for saying this "ANG TAAS NA NGA NG BINAYAD NAMIN TAPOS PAPAHIRAPAN PA KAMI NG GANYAN"

so what do they really want then? Pay your dues and get a grade?

Brother, puso mo, puso mo...relax..hehehe... I salute you for standing firm with your principles...Yup i do agree that most of those students who complain are those who don't seem to have any direction in life in the sense that they come to believe that they can just do anything they want like just to pay  their tuition and they xpect that they will pass automatically..when I was a student, i always see to it that when i have a teacher, no matter how strict he/she maybe, I am being challenged..ung mga students ngaun, ibang klase..Tpos when an issue involving studentts vs. the teacher, ang kampihan ung students...ang rason, cnu pa daw mag enrol pag lagi n lng ibinabagsak ang mga students....ng galing ng logic nla anoh??? hehehe

I have a hint that you are from the College of Nursing...dun b u dati???

Ala n cguro mga students ng UB n mag bigay ng comment nla about this thread kc alam nila dat ur a teacher dun dati...bka mag alangan n ...hehehe.

nah im from the college of engineering. most of my students i call pare, tol, tsong, that is outside the sacred monetary grounds of course. outside barkada system, all out kalog, thats me. But inside where they pay me to be their guru, hehehe im a mean mean person, hehehehe.

Most of them love me, except for those who have repeated my homilies around 5 to 6 times.

But for the rest they understand why i had to fail them, no problem.

imagine seeing the person for 5 consecutive semesters on the same subject. Of course you have to change your style knowing that there are repeaters. Man, they even criticize you for that. Hahahah..."S#$#$ iniba naman nya yung quiz....iniba naman nya yung exam...." hahahaha

oh well i had fun while it lasted.
