Yeah just this month it started to suck like hell. It's a nightmare if your work requires you to be able to go online at anytime. Like yesterday I had to go to a netshop twice, the second time this month. Crap service, any alternative ISP anyone would recommend?

im already pissed with services and i don't know what gives for them... if i try to call on their services, its not a person whom your gonna talk to but a automatic caller computer.  So i send a e-mail message complaining about there stupid services.  Is this my punishment for delayed bills?

I think it applies to all. I used to hold my bills up to 4 months with no problems.

i was informed by another forum, they said that wifi is just cable like myDSL plan 999.  The more subsricbers from that area in that base station, the slower the speed connection.  We have the same band width but we have our own IP addresses.  I would suggest that Smart will upgrade there station providing good speed connection to all of there subsribers.  If problem is not resolve after 1 year... i'll gonna leave or unsubscribe smartbro and look for better services.

Smartbro is a broadband connection. unlike dsl the more users connected the greater the bottleneck. Try running youtube in a dsl connection with more than 2 pc vs the one running broadband with same number of pc you would feel and see what i wanted to say. The only problem with smartbro is the staff and the quality of service thats why their connection sucks. Been using smartbro for months and most of the time it gave me headache. I spend a lot of time calling technical department.  :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

Most of the time i do solve my own problem because they give the same answer even the situation are different. Do a netstat.. reconfigure your Lan.. blah bah blah.. so if you really don't have a background regarding those stuff you would really need to really on calling them till your fingers are gone.. dialing *888 if you own a smart phone.. for land line i dunno....

i know some little of fixing my internet connection but my problem with smart bro is internet speed connection.  They promise this speed but instead, they give you headache of smart broken.  I payed on time but they provide lame stupid connection.

In fairness with SmartBro the connection they gave is ok does not drop below 180kb/s and gets the maximum of 280kb/s when i was using it. The only problem is it always disconnects and their costumer service sucks...

Often times these past weeks the connection would go down when I need it most, like when I have 5 projects going on and when that happens I just want to call and scream obscenities at them.

^%$@#*&$(&(*#@$!@#(&*(!#@%$)()!@*)#*&&^!@#%$&*@!$#(*)&*)
(@!#$&*^%&%@!#^*(&^!@$!@#!@$

Though now I noticed the connection speed went up to 70kBps or 560kbps+ (when working) since I did the WinXP bandwidth tweak.

No Globe Broadband yet here last we checked a few weeks ago. Additional 500 gets 1Gbps which means more than double the amount of downloads which means no more need to run downloads overnight... probably.

smart sucks big time... good thing the tweak worked thanks august. my download and upload speed reached 190 kbps according to speedtest.net.

i'm not a fan of smart bro yet though... and never will be i guess.
