No it should not be banned. It's a part of the culture. (And I like dog meat and would still eat it even if it get banned.)

i have watched the news..i think wednesday or thursday..there was a jeepney bound to baguio city from manila where there were 100+ dogs in it. they're gonna sell daw those dogs..pero nahuli before sila nakalabas ng manila. there were dead dogs na because of the number, heat, and nagsisiksikan na sila dun sa jeep. guys, are u not afraid that the dogs u're eating are double dead? hmnn..just wondering

how about the banning of dogs in china. it's brutal an d cruel!!! saw it in vet's mag.

most of restaurants serving dog meat here buy their dogs from vendors like what was mentioned above. there should be a limit and a law on the inhuman treatment of this dogs and it should only limit itself in this respect... no more.

i usually join with my friends and we butcher a dog for meat. nothing wrong with that, we are safe the meat is not double dead.

what these so called animal rights activists and politicians dont know is that eating dog meat has always been part of our igorot culture. and u dont really experience it if u just eat out in a dog resto like comiles. the whole experience is in the butchering and cooking. and no one in his or her right mind would butcher a sick dog for meat.

it is still a matter of choice. it is all a matter of understanding each others choices. but letting the government ban what we can and can not eat is something very hard to swallow. y not focus our attention on banning the butchering of the manatee (dugong) and other endangered species. look the other way never mind our way. hehe
