Baguio temperatures further drops to 9.6 C

Baguio temperatures further dropped to 9.6 degrees Celsius Monday, colder than the 10.6 degrees Celsius recorded the day before.

Baguio is colder this year. The Pagasa recorded 11.0 degrees Celsius as the coldest in 2006. The lowest temperature ever recorded in Baguio was 6.3 C in January 18, 1961.

Pagasa weather forecaster Joel Jesusa explained that the low temperature is brought by winds blowing all the way from the winter countries in the Northern Hemisphere, like China and Japan.

The cool weather is expected to last at least until the first week of February, he said.

Jesusa added the country is expected to experience temperature extremes, warning of possible hot summer as an effect of the El Nino phenomenon.

idi sembreak ko idi ket napadasak bumangon ti ag-agsapa, magmagna nga apan ijay talun awit awit spraycan or whatever you call that... nu nagpudut ti aldaw aglongsleeves ken agkalugong tapos derecho lang ti trabaho ingga na malem... agsibog, nu awan danum jay hose apan agsakdo ijay karayan... agdalus ti mamulaan... tapos madadael lang...  :'( :'( :'(
