As promised here's the GAME PLAN:

VIRTUE-al REALITY
(GRAND EYE BALL & TEAM MARATHON FOR A CAUSE)

Sparkle: Winning TEAM takes it all!!! Beat the challenges and WIN!!!
Goal: 100 points! Success rate = Commitment! The winner and the amount raised will be announced at the end of the marathon and points accumulated by every team will just be posted on all the forum sites.

The length of the letter and instructions is the first challenge. Earn in the duration of the whole event a total of 100 points or more to earn P20,000. It’s a 50/50 marathon. 50% goes to the team, 50% for a youth foundation fund! (We will still be locating a foundation within cordillera to be adopted as our community service being an online community.) The game will determine our commitment. The game must be played to make it for the cause. Again, it will determine our commitment to the foundation. Everyone quits, foundation gone. It’s for our country; it’s for our future… game ka na ba? If we all pursue and take part, it’s a confirmation that the cause will be continuous and we will be of big help to our community.

The highest prize to bring home is P10,000. The highest pointer wins. The highest point determines the total amount earned and will determine the winning team’s prize to be won. 1point=P200 (E.g. 89 points = P17,800. Thus, P8,900 goes to the winning team, P8,900 will be given to the chosen foundation on June 12, 2008 lead by the winning team.) A document will soon be provided on every site for this.

The place will not be exclusive to grand eye ball attendees, which is another challenge in this game plan. Other customers who come in may not notice that there is a marathon going on, they might just wonder that something is seemingly happening making the house on fire until they find out and be part of it… you are encouraged to tag them along but not force them in your team and join the party with us. A bonus point for a guest’s full participation to join you might be given as long as he/she will not know about the marathon but will join activities & performances. There will be intruders, part of the game, react wise.

No one must interrupt in the band set, which is from 8:00PM to 2:00AM. If any team will prevent guests or other customers in the place to interrupt, it’s a bonus point. You will be given one point for every good deed. Within this time span, you have action plans to work on, lessons to take, and performance to show while enjoying the party. Judges and pointers are just scattered around. They may also be part of your team just to note your points but you will loose 10 points if you will know who. Refer to instructions.

You are not prevented to give requests to the bands on set. You are even encouraged to make requests so as to facilitate your learning sessions and performances. Your requests will determine and will allow you to learn more for your final performance to get the highest point. It’s your own strategy.

No one will serve as an EMCEE or a toastmaster. The activity will go by the game plan. All instructions are given ahead of time yesterday and upon registration to one member in your team. Executing the game plan is your challenge. It’s your team strategy, it’s your game!!! How you will play it, your game!!!

Bonus points will come as a surprise. Work for it plus maintain your points.
1. Invite 1 or 2 band members to be part of your team. A team who invites 2 band members but other teams doesn’t have anyone, loses 5 points. No points for more.
2. A team who loses one member without replacement loses points. A team is a team, if one goes home, convince and invite a new team mate from among the other house guests not part of the EB to stay and be part of the team. At the option of the team, an invited guest team member may or may not share in the prize. Again, the marathon is a choice. (5 points for every member)
3. A team with a member who raises a fight to another person maybe in the same team or another team or another house guest defeats all the purpose of the game. All points will be eliminated in his/her team.  Let’s maintain a friendly & safe environment.
4. Maintain all house rules. Always ask from tavern service crews if you are not sure but please be noted that they have no idea about the marathon.

Plus learning and application counts!!!

Marathon Result

Congratulations to GAWIS group lead by Jonica with 8 members left standing, active and supportive up to the end of the marathon. Success rate = 48/100 points! We were able to raise P9,600.00.
50% goes to the team = P4,800.00
50% amounting to P4,800.00 goes to a youth foundation on June 12, 2008 lead by the winning team.

Thanks for the empowerment of the anonymous donor and may you be blessed more.

Anything that we do, there should be focus and even though we are fired up with pleasure, we don't forget our responsibilities and our duties to fulfill, that worked for the winning team.
